Julie Jones is PBJ Education Ltd, she has over 15 years experience in schools at senior management level, local authority consultancy and private consultancy. She has recently trained as a CEOP Ambassador and PRINCE2© Practitioner and has worked across many schools in Greater Manchester and the North West. The company was set up in response to the growing demands from primary schools for help with the ICT and Computing curriculum requirements. Some of the many assignments Julie gets involved with are as follows:
– reviewing schemes of work to ensure are statutory require to are being met in the Computing curriculum
– working with schools to identify training needs and skills gaps in the implementation of ICT.
– helping schools make the most of their ICT hardware and software, along with advising on excite and creative ways of using technology.
– creating exciting, thematic learning materials and schemes of work which fully engage pupils with technology.
– providing up to date e-Safety training to pupils, staff, parents and governors.
– supporting schools through periods of change.
– conducting learning walks and auditing current practice.
-working with staff and departments to ensure ICT and Computing work is assessed and reported on in line with best practice guidelines.
-establish after school coding clubs.
